About PCC
Purdue's unique cooperative system has been on campus for over 75 years! Purdue currently has 11 cooperative houses: 4 men's and 7 women's houses. Annually, cooperative members are eligible for over $15,000 in scholarships through PCC. Cooperative houses consistently maintain GPAs above the campus average, promoting a great balance between living and learning!
Unlike fraternities or sororities, cooperatives are not supported by national organizations. This lack of external backing offers cooperative members the chance to develop valuable skills such as cooking, house maintenance, and other practical life skills.
Men's Formal Rush
Formal recruitment is an in-person event that takes place in the spring semester. During formal recruitment, students will visit all 4 men's houses. This is a time where you can ask questions, tour the house, and get to know some of the guys in the house. All formal events require business casual attire and are open to any current high school Seniors or college Freshmen, Sophomores, or Juniors.
Men's Informal Rush
After Formal Recruitment, prospective members will be invited back to specific houses to further their connections and learn more about the house culture. You have the option to attend some or all the houses you are invited back to. This is your time to get to know the guys better, and build relationships with the current members. All informal events are casual attire.
